What is a good house-1
A good house is not merely an assembly of walls covered by a roof. Such a house will be nothing more that a shelter. As compared to a "shelter" a good house exists between the walls. In other words it is the "space" that matters most and not the walls. Often even a trained and experienced architect would fail to understand the difference. Resulting in houses that are simply brick walls capped by concrete slab.
It is not difficult to understand that we do not use walls, as such, but we use "space". Walls are not related to our mood, feelings, socializing and family bonding. Space is definitely relating to these things and these things are important for a family.
So to me when someone says that a particular house is good or not so good, I take it that in terms of "space" and not so much in terms of structure.
