Elevated Green Strip and Urban Insert for Housing Board
A vision-inspired design for MP Housing Board. It was highly "conceptual" and had great potential to improve upon.

Green Schools: Fresh Green and healthy-1
A child spends nearly 14000 hours in school between the age of 5 and 18. That is a huge amount of time sure to have an impact over the physical and mental well being. United States Green Building Council conducted a study of green schools in the US underlining the benefits of green school buildings. It was found that green schools have a significant impact over the learning abilities of children, especially reading and maths improving their grades. Similarly, proper utilization of day light and natural ventilation improved the mood conditions inside the classroom creating a more conducing environment for learning.
What is a good house-1
A good house is not merely an assembly of walls covered by a roof. Such a house will be nothing more that a shelter. As compared to a "shelter" a good house exists between the walls. In other words it is the "space" that matters most and not the walls. Often even a trained and experienced architect would fail to understand the difference. Resulting in houses that are simply brick walls capped by concrete slab.
It is not difficult to understand that we do not use walls, as such, but we use "space". Walls are not related to our mood, feelings, socializing and family bonding. Space is definitely relating to these things and these things are important for a family.
So to me when someone says that a particular house is good or not so good, I take it that in terms of "space" and not so much in terms of structure.
Less is more
It makes a lot of common sense to use less material, less energy, less effort and achieve more. The whole story of human civilization is based on this principle. In other words it is about being smart.
Less is more is also about simplicity. It is not unlike our mobile phones where so many complex functions are available to use in such an easy interface.
It requires intelligent pursuance of the trade to churn out simple yet effective designs.
